Synapse 4 family of products integrate live and simulated voice communications from an array of sources into a unified network. Synapse provides a balance of simplicity and flexibility to facilitate installation and management of communications for networked exercises.
Synapse 4 features:
- Ready to Use: Pre-configured for deployment right out of the box.
- Easy to Install: Ethernet-based components, easily integrate into existing IP architectures.
- Inter-operable and Powerful: All products feature the full-fidelity ASTi Radio simulation environment.
- Scalable: Fits applications from small groups of operators to massive distributed groups of sites.
- Built to last and minimize life-cycle costs: Features industrial hardware, Intel Dual Core CPU, and Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®.
- Centralized System Management: networked configuration and equipment monitoring.
Synapse Workstation
Workstation is a simulation and voice comms distribution system that features ready-to-use hardware-based operator stations, including hand-held communication terminals.
- Perfect solution for situations requiring a 100% stand-alone voice comms system.
- Compatible with a wide variety of ancillary options: headsets, speakers, mics and push-to-talks.
Synapse Voisus Server
Voisus Server is ASTi's most economical comms system. Features ASTi Voisus technology which distributes digital voice and controls between the central comms server and remote computer-based clients.
- Extend the power of the ASTi Radio environment to customer-furnished LinuxTM or Windows® PCs.
- Thin client: conserves CPU resources, maximizes reliability and minimizes maintenance (server-centralized software updates).
- Elegant administration: download client app from server, remotely configure comm plan, and operate.
- Features Voisus-VBS2 plugin to integrate the Voisus client into the Virtual Battlespace 2 military training game.
Synapse Radio Bridge
Synapse Radio Bridge links live radios to IP networks, providing a wealth of capabilities:
- Network repeater: extend live radio comms between sites through the data network.
- Bridge inter-communications between disparate live radio systems.
- Conserve live radio usage: networked operator stations share access to live radios.
- Remotely control live radios over the IP network (feature under development).
